ALP P's Review

The story was beautiful, the writing was flawless and the characters are perfectly imperfect.

Kaleidoscope Hearts is without a doubt my favorite read thus far in 2015. I was fortunate to obtain an advanced copy for myself and my book bestie, Whitney, who also cites this as her favorite read of 2015. The synopsis caught my eye but the story is so much more and I loved every poignant word and every heartfelt emotion.

The story has all the makings of a perfect read for me. A forbidden romance, a second chance romance, and friends to lovers all blended into one.  Oliver and Estelle’s connection was profoundly evident. They were drawn to one another despite their own reservations. Their history added depth to their relationship and intensified the chemistry.

Claire did a fantastic job with this story and I miss these characters already. Do yourself a huge favor and purchase this book. You won’t be disappointed.

OVERALL RATING – 5 STARS

I was provided an advance copy but purchased one because I simply needed the BEAUTIFUL cover in my library.

ALP Abt the Author

claire-contrerasClaire Contreras graduated with her BA in Psychology from Florida International University. She lives in Miami, FL with her husband, two little boys, and three dogs.

Her favorite past times are: daydreaming, writing, and reading. She has been described as a random, sarcastic, crazy girl with no filter. Life is short, and it’s more bitter than sweet, so she tries to smile as often as her face allows. She enjoys stories with happy endings, because life is full of way too many unhappy ones.

She is currently working on the second novel in her series.

  1. I hadn’t heard of this book before but that synopsis has me wanting it so badly and your review too! It sounds amazing and for it to be one of your fave reads this year, that says something.
