Uncivilized by Sawyer Bennett
Erotic Adult Contemporary
**Warning: This book is a wild, sexy beast of a read. 18+**
Putting a woman on her knees before me is what really makes my cock hard. I fuck with dominant force and absolute control. I demand complete surrender from my conquests.
Savage man, loner, warrior… I am dangerous at my core. I have lived amidst the untamed wild of the rainforest, in a society that reveres me and where every woman falls before me in subjugation.
Now I’ve been discovered. Forced to return to a world that I have forgotten about and to a culture that is only vaguely familiar to my senses.
Dr. Moira Reed is an anthropologist who has been hired to help me transition back into modern society. It’s her job to smooth away my rough edges… to teach me how to navigate properly through this new life of mine. She wants to tame me. She’ll never win.
I am wild, free and raw, and the only thing I want from the beautiful Moira Reed is to fuck her into submission.
Yes, very soon, I will become the teacher and she will become my student. And when I am finished showing her body pleasure like no other, she’ll know what it feels like to be claimed by an uncivilized man.

Whitney’s Four Star Review
4 Panty Melting Stars!
When I saw the cover for this book, I immediately signed up for the blog tour. The fact that I love the other books by Sawyer I have read didn’t hurt either. And while this book pushed a lot of the right buttons for me, I also had a few problems and waffled back and forth between 3.5 and 4 stars.
The storyline is a bit different from anything I’ve ever read regarding the fine details. Zach is literally plucked from his home in the Amazon amongst the natives and returned to a civilized world against his will. Moira is a great heroine, nothing about her annoyed me as I so often am with literary females. I really enjoyed watching these two characters grow and Zach learn what love feels like.
The In Between:
Sex. While many regard this as a good thing in books, it was overdone. Literally, the entire book is pretty much about sex in some form or another. So while Sawyer writes a great steamy scene they overtook the plot for me.
See above. I think the character development fell a little short because of the focus on sex. Things were just a little too predictable and nicely packaged at the end.
Now I know my review may sound a little harsh for four stars but it really was a fun story. I just wasn’t expecting erotica and that is how I would classify this book. So if you’re wanting a straight up sexy read with a dominant male, this book is for you.
If you’re wanting something with more storyline and development like Sawyer’s other books, I still recommend reading but you might not like it as much as her others.
