Four years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant.

Three months ago, I found something I haven’t had in years.
That hope came in the form of a sexy, carefree hockey player named Brody Murphy. He swooped in and won me over with his big heart and the way he cared for me…and my girls. When they look at him, they see the father they’ve never had.

Now, my past and present are colliding and the outcome might just be too much for me to bear. Can I make the right decision when I’ve spent my whole life making the wrong ones?

Patricia’s 5 STAR Review

This story picks up right where Room for You concluded. Brody and Kacie’s relationship is just starting to blossom when her ex-boyfriend and the father of her twins, Zach, shows up. His appearance threatens not only the life she has pieced back together for herself and her girls, but also the life that has just begun with Brody. Kacie finds herself torn between keeping Zach away from Piper and Lucy and wanting to let him have some semblance of a relationship with them.

As Brody resumes practices and preparation for the upcoming season, the time away from Kacie begins to wear on him. Things are tense and it does not help that Kacie’s work schedule is also a factor in limiting their time together. When word of Zach’s return comes to light, Brody and Kacie suddenly find themselves in quite the predicament.

Tempers flare and words are spoken that will both hurt and challenge these two to make some tough decisions. Above all, they have to decide whether or not each has Room for More in their lives.

I am absolutely smitten with these characters and this story. I did not think I could love Brody Murphy more than I did in Room for You. I was so wrong. Brody is swoon worthy on so many levels that I lost count. The tender way he was with the Twinkies and the admiration he showed towards Kacie, is one of the many things I love about Brody.

“You have to say no. I’m perfectly happy being the pushover. What my Twinkies want, my Twinkies get.” – Brody

“If anyone ever asked me to, it would be really hard to describe exactly what love looks like, but I got to witness it firsthand every time Kacie looked at her girls. The way she loved them made me love her more, if that was even possible.” – Brody

His playful nature and witty remarks made him difficult to resist and I loved that he helped to take some of the seriousness away from Kacie. Sometimes, she was too serious for her own good and that is something I identify with all too well.

I loved that Brody was honest with Kacie, even when she was scared to hear what he had to say. He never backed away from telling her exactly how he felt, regardless of her own reservations and fears.

“Kacie, get attached. Please, get attached. I sure as hell know I am. You’re what I want. You and the girls. This is it for me.” –Brody

“I know we’re taking our time, especially where the girls are concerned, but you’re my more, remember?” -Brody

RfM Teaser 2

Watching Kacie slowly let go of her fears and give in to the multitude of charms that Brody had to offer, was slow and frustrating at times. But, Brody was determined to show her that he was in it for the long haul.

“Every single day that crazy man offered up some innocent text or gesture that made me fall in love with him all over again. Today’s dose came in the form of two booster seats.” – Kacie

This was the perfect conclusion to this heartwarming and sweet series. I am so pleased to have been recommended this series and I am looking forward to Viper’s story and whatever else Beth has up her sleeve.
